Using RBRE960 & RBSE960 in large scale metallic multi-storey structure for MESH WiFi network.
I am planning to built a WiFi network inside a multi-storey metallic structure. There are totally 5 floors. Area of each floor is around 350m sq with rooms separated by metallic partitions. Linkage between floors is a staircase. I am wondering if it is possible using quite a few RBSE960 Satellites to create a single SSID WiFi coverage throughout the whole site. Network diagram is as follow:
Would it work?

Re: Using RBRE960 & RBSE960 in large scale metallic multi-storey structure for MESH WiFi network
Mostly likely no. Metallic building would be like a faraday cage and block most Wi-Fi signals and cause syncing problems and not have great performances. Orbi is a home class system.
Recommend you check in to some wired APs like NGs WAX series. Ethernet wire them up into each floor.
I'd contact NGs business sales group and discuss this with them. https://www.netgear.com/business/wifi/access-points/listing-filter/smbnet-wireless-accpoi-remgmt/
