That is a cable modem router.What sort of Internet do you get from CenturyLink? Cable?

You will have to ask CenturyLink if your modem/router will work on its network. There are just too many ISPs out there for Netgear to maintain an up-to-date and reliable database of compatible kit.

Centurylink either uses fibre or dsl. Not a cable coax.
You'll want to check with centurylink to find out what gateway you can use. then you can connect pretty much any router to that (but not a modem/router combo device)
