It is a nice feature, that flooded/storm/looped ports may become disabled. but in all cases they should be reenabled after some time. there should be an option to auto reenable a port with this err...
I was just looking for this - I'm seeing an increase in disabled ports but the netgear doesn't seem to log enough information on this for me to diagnose it.
