Cosmetic issue - LCD display of Pioneer Pro on OS6
Hi
I have a Pro Pioneer on OS 6.4.1RC1. It had 4x4TB in bays 1-4 and i've just added 2x6TB in 5 and 6.
It is resyncing fine (as far as I can tell from the GUI - and the volume display correctly shows 1-4 in blue and 5-6 in red) but the LCD display shows 3 and 4 as 'missing' - and the underscores are untidy!!
Kind regards,
Andy

Hi powellandy1,
Did the resync finish in both drives 5 & 6, separately? Also, confirm if you can still access the admin page.
I look forward to your response.
Kind regards,

Re: Cosmetic issue - LCD display of Pioneer Pro on OS6
Hi
The resync/reshape didn't actually work - I posted here https://community.netgear.com/t5/Using-your-ReadyNAS/Failed-XRAID-expansion-on-Pro-Pioneer/m-p/10095...
Skywalker kindly remote accessed and forced it with
/sbin/mdadm -G -n6 /dev/md127
He said it was interesting the logs actually showed no failure. mdgm kindly explained what the mdstat output meant.
I'm not sure if the LCD display actually adds any useful info for this, or if it is truely cosmetic.
Kind regards,
Andy
