Hello olest,
What are the apps running on the NAS at the same time when using rsync?

Re: 6.4.1-RC1 rsync error
Hello olest,
Do you also have AntiVirus enabled? Disable please both AntiVirus and Plex and see if the same.

Antivirus is not enabled.
Same error with PLEX off (disabled)

Re: 6.4.1-RC1 rsync error
Perhaps try updating Rsync on the other machine to Rsync 3.1.1 and see if that helps?

Re: 6.4.1-RC1 rsync error
The other machine is a QNAP NAS with newest firmware so I can not update rsync on it.
It worked with 6.2.4 firmware.

Re: 6.4.1-RC1 rsync error
I was getting the same rsync error messages when I updated from 6.4.0 on my RN314. Rsync backups to a Duo v1 worked fine until I updated the RN314 to 6.4.1 T21, so I had to fall back to 6.4.0 to get the rsync backups to work again.
I haven't tried 6.4.1 T39 or 6.4.1-RC1, but by the look of things, rsync still has problems for us.

Rsync backup jobs running on my RN102 and RN202 with the source being my pro-6 running 4.2.28 are working fine.
Having you tried running the backup jobs on the both the Duo and the RN312?

Re: 6.4.1-RC1 rsync error
Can you post the related entry in /etc/frontview/backup_jobs.conf (with any sensitive information removed, of course)? Or you can PM it to me.

Thanks. I am able to reproduce the issue. We'll have this fixed in 6.4.1.

Looks like RC3 works - my backup is running right now.

Re: 6.4.1-RC1 rsync error
Yup, 6.4.1-RC3 fixed the rsync backup problems (to the Duo v1) for me too.
