ReadyNAS 314 Files Auto Deleted after update of virus definition on 28 August 2023
I'm using ReadyNAS RN314 for my storage purposes. I found yesterday that most of my files are deleted automatically by the NAS, though folders exists. All the folders are empty. I checked the log and came to know that there was virus definition update on 28 August 2023 at 11 AM local time and files started to get deleted on 1300 hrs local time.
My snapshot is not active.
How do i recover my files in the current situation.

You need to enable ssh on the NAS, and then log in using ssh. Log in as root, with the NAS admin password.
After that, you are on your own.
