ReadyNAS Duo V1 problem installing SSH addon
I've just got my hands on ReadyNAS Duo V1 RND2000 (hardware v2) software version 4.1.16. I wanted to give it a little TLC ❤️ so it can be used with newer OSes.
Found a guide that fixes SMB v2 compatibility, but wasn't able to install SSH addon.Installed addon and restarted ReadyNAS but there isnt any trace of it on NAS. Maybe browser Im using is a problem, Firefox?
Thanks for any helpful tips.

Can you post a link to the add-on you installed?
Did you try to connect to the NAS using ssh?

That is the right add-on.
My recollection is that it is a "toggle" install - that won't show up on the services page. If you install it a second time, it will actually do an uninstall. If it's possible that you did that, then try installing it one more time.
Also, you do need to change the admin password to something other than the default netgear1.

Re: ReadyNAS Duo V1 problem installing SSH addon
When I did mine I used the EnableRootSSH file. The Support "warning" doesn't matter anymore. I've had no issues accessing ROOT to carry out the V1 "fixes" with Putty or WinSCP.

Re: ReadyNAS Duo V1 problem installing SSH addon
Changing password and reloading addon fixed the issue! Now trying to remove old repo from list, but now luck... Im used to have at least nano installed on linux box.
