Constant Disconnect with samsung led tv
I have an issue that keeps on bugging me and I consider myself a tech geek of sorts. I keep on getting a disconnect like maybe 5-7 minutes of playback of my LED TV. I tried all sorts of settings, like changing the IP address, creating a static IP, used several ethernet cables, upgrade firmware, try to isolate the files by playing one or multiple at the same time and nothing is working. This only seems to be occuring on my LED TV. The message i get "Media device is diconnected" NAS ULTRA2. Then i locate the device again and it happens again. Any ideas or solutions i can try?
Here is a rundown of my devices.
Samsung LED 46in Internet connected TV
Netgear WNDR4500.Dual band router (latest firmware)
Netgear Prosafe 16 port Gigabit switch
Netgear Readynas ultra 2 (current firmware)
Plex is up to date
ReadyDNLA has been has up to date firmware as well.
I also tried disabling the DNLA on my router to see if that was the issue and same results. Any suggestions would be helpful

Re: Constant Disconnect with samsung led tv
I see a similar issue with multiple devices connecting to a RNDPro2:
- Macbook Pro streaming videos via CIFs or AFP
- Win7 laptops streaming videos via CIFs
- iPhones streaming via DLNA
Issue persists with RNDPro2 running 4.2.17, 4.2.19, 4.2.21
Clients are connected via wifi (150Mbit / 300Mbit) RNDPro2 is connected via Gig ethernet
Clients stutter during playback, time ranges from several minutes to seconds.

Re: Constant Disconnect with samsung led tv
This is a 3 year old thread - long dead.
If you are having a related issue, please start a new thread, and include your ReadyNAS model and the firmware you are running. It would also be helpful to include what streaming server you are using on the NAS (plex, readydlna, etc).
I'm locking this thread.
