NVX failed during boot...
So I've had my NVX for 5+ years, and after a recent power outage (and UPS failure), the power supply checked out.
Talked to support, my unit is just too far out of waranty to send a new one. Ok, I'll try plan B...
I modified an ATX power supply to work with the unit, and that worked out well... but now it's stuck on the Booting... screen.
I see all 4 drives are recognized, and I see it "checking root partition" (or something like that) very briefly, then it seems to stall. No activity, although it does respond to ping on the network (but that's about it).
I'm well versed in Linux, and can certainly do some surgery if I have to - but I'm thinking there's a simpler answer if someone can share some knowlege with me. So before I do anything stupid, let me know if there's an easier way to rescue it 🙂

Do you have a backup of your data?

Re: NV+ failed during boot...
Not recent enough to be worth much value.

Re: NV+ failed during boot...
Your profile indicates that it was a NVX not a NV+ which had the failed power supply unit?
Can you confirm?

Re: NV+ failed during boot...
Sorry, you are correct. I have an NVX (RNDX4000).
