ReadyNas Duo - kein LAN - keineLEDs
Hallo,
Danke
B

Re: ReadyNas Duo - kein LAN - keineLEDs
Hi Basi,
Try these steps so we'll know if the chassis NIC card is still okay.
1. Turn off your NAS then remove the hard drives (label or mark them after removing).
2. Connect the ReadyNAS straight to your PC.
3. Boot it normally and see if the LAN LED lit's up.
I look forward to your response.
Kind regards,
BrianL

Re: ReadyNas Duo - kein LAN - keineLEDs
Hello,
after removing the hard disks, the system keeps now for 1 hour in "starting mode". On-Off Button and yellow LEDs in front are flashing (twice long, three times short).
No LAN-LED is enlighted.
Thanks

The blinking pattern just means no disks inserted.

Re: ReadyNas Duo - kein LAN - keineLEDs
Hello Basi,
Which ReadyNAS Duo is this? v1 or v2?
Do you have full back up of the data?
If you have a spare disk that is okay to format, insert it to the NAS' bay and factory reset. This will delete the current configuration on the NAS and format the spare disk.
