only hardware is under warranty, netgear is not offering support without paid subscription
Try also resetting the permissions of the share.
If you support warranty already expired, you may avail their support contract and one if them is the per incident support service contract.
how do i reset permissions of the share, this was working great before upgrading firmware to RC, should i try to roll back FW to 6.4.0?

That is unusual. I guess it is best for you to stick with 6.4.0 for the meantime, maybe until the official FW is released.
did you manage to roll back without data loss?
no data loss, rn104 can't shutdown properly. must unplug
