📢 New Firmware Release Available

As always, the Live Update feed is delayed for a few weeks, just like on consumer routers and mesh systems.

Of course, you can update right away after consulting the release notes.

Network admins should not always believe in what that thew Online Firmware [Update] button and the Maintenance -> Online Firmware Update -> [Check for Update] does. 

Give you an example of a MS510TXUP, connected and updated by Netgear Insight, and updated weeks ago from 1.1.0.8 to 1.1.0.9, set to active as part of the process

Netgear Insight does perfectly rotate the active firmware image, so updating always the other, not yet active Flash image . This would allow - in case required - to revert to the previous version.

However, when using the device local [Check for Update] button, the switch does falsely assume an update is required, even if the up to date version is in place -and- active for almost half a year.

The Dashboard does show it right, even after using [Update]:

While the Maintenance -> Online Firmware Update -> [Check for Update] does -falsely- suggest an update on the image section intentionally kept on the previous version:

Can JulienR​ please let QA check and RD fix this mishap? Would not wonder if all the Smart Switches with the nice updated Web UI are affected. FURRYe38​ you can compare on yours please :-)
