Jun 22, 20171.11.0.20 Firmware Problems w/ Satellites
Both of my satellites along with the master router received the 1.11.0.20 update yesterday. Upon restart of all 3, the satellites and all clients attached to them no longer show connected in the ...

I can confirm that the 1.12.0.16 beta corrects the sats not showing up in the Attached Devices and Firmware Upgrade pages of the router. Now if it is as good as everything has been for the past 6 months, except for the issue in 1.11.0.20 with the sats, I'll be in great shape!

Jun 28, 2017Manually reloading the firmware on the Sat fixed rotating dots for me, but not the problem of being able to see the sats from the router (even though they are connected, they're not reflected in the UI).

Again, hope I do not insult your intelligence but have you tried to connect the Satellites using the full administrator UI in the Router? I was having a problem with my one satellite connecting and ended up starting over using the Router Admin and not the App or other. Worth a try....

Yes. I don't use the app at all, and only use the WebUI.
I've factory reset the sats and the router numerous times. They ALWAYS connect, gain the ssid during setup, but afterwards disappear from the router's WebUI as being connected, but are in fact connected sans reflecting the GUEST SSID.

Well that really sucks. Only thing I can think of would be to try it with just one satellite plugged in as a test. Maybe that will narrow down the problem to where you can get some good tech support. As I said before, it appears the new Firmware update was for the RBK40. Maybe try to roll back to an earlier Firmware as well? Btw... love your username. I am a Texan who is also a Gun Lover!
Good luck.

I have tried just one unit, but not the rollback yet. I was hoping, since there were a few other threads reporting the same issue, there might be fix sooner than later. Thanks, and cheers fellow Texan!

How do do you know they're connected?

I can log into them, see devices connected to them, and verify from the devices shown that they are in fact connected to the satellite. They're connected to the router, but not reflected in the UI of the router as being connected. New problem introduced with 1.11.0.20.
