2.4Ghz channel change issues
I just setup an RBR50 Orbi and noticed 2.4 channel was set to Auto and my phones wifi analyzer showed it overlapping a bunch of local networks. Anyway I set it to 11 on the web interface and it did its thing however my phone wifi app shows it broadcasting on 9. I confirmed the setting on the web app and it is correct at 11. I tried another android wifi app and showed the same.
The weird thing is I downloaded a couple of wifi analyzers to my windows PC. One is showing my 2.4 networks at 11 and Acrylic Wifi Home showing my 2.4Ghz network at 11+7..... (which averages to 9).
My previous Nighthawk, when I set it to 11 it showed up as 11. Any idea what 11+7 means?

It means that the Orbi is broadcasting a 40mhz channel on 2.4G which allows devices the maximum possible bandwidth.
There is a fascinating discussion in this post:
