agree with FURRYe38 Reset the RBR and the modem and start from scratch.
Did you have a surge protector or a UPS hooked up?
Since I've started buying more expensive of networking gear, I've invested in basic UPS. $40-100 to save several hundreds of dollars of gear is worth it. :)

Agreed but power surges have been known to cause havoc with electronics. I don't know how many times I've had to fix computers caused by power surgers/failures.

The ISP - ATT modem is a Motorola NVG-589. I've had this modem 3 weeks. Only changed because my older modem no longer supported a backup battery.
I have restarted my Orbi as a new set-up several times. I have internet service, however I still get 404 errors and I have 1 app I've tried so far that says I don't have internet connection. After about 3 new set-up restarts, I finally was able to use the app without error and did not get the 404 errors. But the next morning, electricity blinked, and now I'm right back where I was before with the app and 404 error. Again I've restarted several times without success. This never happened before . My Orbi is about a year old and of course out of tech support warranty. I'm so frustrated and don't know if it's a netgear cliche or ATT modem problem.
