404 not found error
When my phone is connected to my Orbi router (RBR20), some links I click on give me the 404 Not Found error. Any ideas? Firmware appears to be up to date (v2.3.5.26) Thanks

Some link? So others work?
You say "my phone", what about other devices?

Hi,
This is usually the reason of why you get 404 error:
The HTTP 404 Not Found Error means that the webpage you were trying to reach could not be found on the server. It is a Client-side Error which means that either the page has been removed or moved and the URL was not changed accordingly, or that you typed in the URL incorrectly.

We have been discussing the issue first raised by nzgroovejet.
Jumping in the middle may or may not mean that you have the same issue.
In any case, "hijacking" is frowned upon:

I have the RBR50 connected to a livebox router by ethernet cable and an extender in my office. I get constant 404 error messages, which I do not get direct from the livebox router. This is clearly the RBR50 imposing some kind of firewall.

Nothing to do with a firewall. Simply your configuration.

Does this mean that you have two routers in series?
The only mentions I can find of the "livebox router" is that it is actually a DSL modem router from Orange.
If so, this explains what you see.
Two routers on your network can cause headaches. For example, you can end up with local address problems. Among other things, the other router can misdirect addresses that the Netgear router usually handles, such as routerlogin.net or the usual IP address for a router, 192.168.1.1.
This explains some of the other drawbacks.

It may be possible to put the modem/router into modem only (bridge) mode – Google is less than encouraging – and then to use the RBR50 as the router. Sometimes it is easier to put the second router into AP mode.A lof of people have Orbi routers in AP mode. Mine is, after an R7800 router.
One thing still isn't clear to me, the order of your kit. Whichever mode you use, it should be:
> modem > router > extender
I can't work out where the (unnamed) extender gets its connection.
