hat is the Mfr and model# of the ISP modem the NG router is connected too? If there is a built in router here, This would be a double NAT condition which isn't recommended. https://kb.netgear.com/30186/What-is-Double-NAT

Couple of options,
1. Configure the modem for transparent bridge or modem only mode. Then use the Orbi router in router mode. You'll need to contact the ISP for help and information in regards to the modem being bridged correctly.
2. If you can't bridge the modem, disable ALL wifi radios on the modem, configure the modems DMZ/ExposedHost or IP Pass-Through for the IP address the Orbi router gets from the modem. Then you can use the Orbi router in Router mode.
3. Or disable all wifi radios on the modem and connect the Orbi router to the modem, configure AP mode on the Orbi router. https://kb.netgear.com/31218/How-do-I-configure-my-Orbi-router-to-act-as-an-access-point and https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H7LOcJ8GdDo&app=desktop

Both my wife and i have noticed that certain websites no long longer load asking for our username and password before taking us to the site. A very generic pop up. We have found going to google searching for the site in question and then accessing it that way works for some reason. Would welcome this boards suggestions on how to resolve.
Thanks,
PS my Orbi purchase was a result of earlier challenges with existing ATT router and T-Link extender. I have 1000 fiber. In talking to ATT they sent me a new router. I note incase that could be the issue.

Try one of the suggestions since your ISP modem already has a built in router...
- OrbiQuestionsMar 25, 2020AspirantHello,
ATT doesn’t allow bridge but I did enable pass through/DMZPLUS and I was able to shut off the WiFi. I was also able to login to the Orbi and enable AP mode. Thank you this solved our problem.
However I am having work VPN issues today. Is this a co. Issue? Or is a VPN connectivity issue a bi-product of the changes I made above?
Thanks- FURRYe38Mar 25, 2020Guru - Experienced User
Ok.
Any VPN issues would not be or should not be effected by what you did, however DMZ and IP pass thru is not needed since you configured the RBR for AP mode. DMZ or IP passthru is only needed if you use the RBR in router mode.
- OrbiQuestionsMar 25, 2020AspirantDo I need to turn off the pass through? ie is it hurting anything by having it on?
Thank you again for all your help.
