You'll need to find out as if the modem has a built in router in front of the Orbi router. If it doesn, this can impede remote access with the Orbi.

Sorry for delay but I am not at location.
There is just a modem in front of it.
Thanks

This modem a modem only or does it have a built in router with the modem?

Just a nodem, no router built in

Maybe you can clear this up for me.
Originally I thought I had a netgear id and password, I would log in to netgear and see my different locations and manage them through that connection. Now I am thinking I am directly logging in to each individual router with unique IDs and passwords. Which is correct?
Thanks
Henry

When your at a remote location away from the Orbi system, you would be using a unique log in and PW for access to the system. While your at home, you'll be using the admin log in and PW while your at home. This would be using the Orbi app to access the system either remotely or while your at home.
If your remote and don't use the Orbi app, you can use a web browser and if you have remote management enabled on the RBR, then you would be using a http://WAN IP ADDRESS:Port# to access the RBRs web page. i.e. http://##.##.###.###:####
