Add a second Wi-Fi Network
I have Frontier as my ISP and use a Frontier FiOS G1100 Quantum Router and want to add a Mesh Wi-Fi system. Can I have two separate Wi-Fi networks issuing separate DHCP address ranges (i.e. 192.168.1...

Thanks again for your quick reply and advice! My Frontier FiOS DHCP is set to default 192.168.1.2 - 192.168.1.254. But I have static addresses within that range as well, like my server 192.168.1.200 and STB 192.168.1.100, and other clients in the lower range. I've been through a couple routers already and they seem to work fine for about 6 months or so, and then they have random issues with IP addresses. I guess I can try to change some of the static IP addresses and move them in the lower and upper portion of DHCP range and set the DHCP to something like 192.168.1.101 - 199. That should be more than enough for other devices.

Yes, if you going to use STATIC IPs ON devices, then these need to be outside of the routers default IP address pool. The pool needs to be shortened. I use .100 to .200. This gives me room for static IP addressed devices on either side of this pool. Then Reserved IPs are of course with in the pool that are set ON the router.
