Admin default password not working

I am trying to reset our Orbi WiFi password since we have forgotten it.  The default admin password "(password") is not working...Nor does "admin".   Nothing about password recovery is coming up.  I ...

Password Recovery comes up when the Orbi web interface password is rejected three times in a row.  Password Recovery will only succeed if the two questions were set up correctly during the initial configuration.

 

I fear you are stuck, and the only recourse is the dreaded "Factory Reset":

After that, the WiFi SSID/password will be set to the values printed on the product label.

The web login will be "admin" and "password".

 

Bummer.
