Admin Password Works for Web Admin but not for iOS App

RBK33 System (1 RBR40 router plus 2 satellites)

Router Firmware V2.1.4.16

iOS App Version: 2.2.0.57

 

Hi, this problem started after a few weeks of normal operation. Password has not been changed recently.

 

When attempting to connnect to the RBR40 using the iOS App I receive the following error message:  "Login failed. Please re-enter the correct admin password for your NETGEAR router."   I am able to login to the web admin using the same password.  I was able to login with the iOS App using the password up until today.

 

Troubleshooting I've tried:

1. Verified that I am not connecting to another wireless network or router.

2. Deleted and re-installed iOS app.

3. Rebooted router.

    Have you tried to use the default password which is password?
