Alarm Control Unit - Setting up Wi-Fi

I have an alarm panel that reuires the WI-FI to be setup using a smartphone. The Alarm Control Unit is 2.4 Ghz only. For the setup to work they must be on the same network. I am assuming the connecti...

It is possible the control unit is not connecting. There are no indications on the control unit what network it is connecting too. I have reached out to the company. 

 

What about the turning off the beaming feature?

I can't give you a suggestion I know will work.  You could try turning off beamforming, or try each setting of the 20/40 MHz coexistence feature under Advanced Wireless Settings, 2.4 GHz.
