Alexa Announcements does not work with Orbi Voice RBS40V

I bought this Orbi voice a couple of years ago. It used to work with Alexa announcements/reminder/alarm. Suddenly one fine day it would take an alarm/reminder via Alexa but would not set if off at the defined time. 

Now, when I ask Alexa to make an annoucement, it says "Sorry, you cant send announcements from this device yet". Did Amazon, remove this device from its supported device list? What happened? Is there a way to get back this feature?
