All kinds of troubles after latest firmware update
First my internet dogged. After a week with Spectrum and a service tech visit, they proved to me that the issue is mine. I’ve reset and reset and re-installed to no avail. One of my satellites has som...

Has a factory reset and setup from scratch been performed since last FW update?
Press the back reset button for 15 seconds then release.
Be sure all RBS and RBR are loaded with same version of FW.
What is the Mfr and model# of the Internet Service Providers modem/ONT the NG router is connected too?
Is the Orbi system operating in Router or AP mode?
What is the Mfr and model# of the ethernet switch in the configuration?
What is the distance between the router and satellite(s)? 30 feet is recommended in between RBR and RBS to begin with depending upon building materials when wirelessly connected. https://kb.netgear.com/000036466/How-far-should-I-place-my-Orbi-satellite-from-my-Orbi-router
What channels are you using? Auto? Try setting manual channel 1, 6 or 11 on 2.4Ghz and any unused channel on 5Ghz.
Any Wifi Neighbors near by? If so, how many?

Try enabling Beamforming and MIMO(MIMO may or maynot be needed) and WMM. Under Advanced Tab/Advanced Settings/Wireless Settings
Try disabling the following and see:
Armor, Circle, Daisy Chain, Fast Roaming, IPv6 and Set 20/40Mhz Coexistence to 40Mhz only. Set Short preamble instead of Long preamble modes. Save settings and reboot the router and satellite(s).
- RobertLMJun 19, 2020AspirantWow! Thanks for the quick reply and lots of additional things to check. I will pick up my efforts again this weekend and post the results here. I did do a full factory reset and verify latest/consistent firmware across the three devices, but I’ll need to check one by one all the options/settings you’ve suggested. Thank you!

- RobertLMJun 27, 2020AspirantAs promised, an update on progress or lack thereof: I have restored to factory and re-set all operating parameters of the ORBI as suggested as the initial step. The Spectrum modem provided info is on the attached photo. The ORBI is operating in router mode. The Ethernet switch (hub?) information is in the attached photo. The distances between the router and satellites is 24 feet and 38 feet. The house is an open floor plan, there is only one standard Sheetrock wall between either satellite and the router. These positions have worked well since the system was installed a couple years ago. I am on channel 11 for the 2.4ghz channel selection, and the 5ghz is on channel 48. The two nearest WiFi neighbors are more than 100-125 feet away. The rest are much farther, hundreds of feet. We have larger than average lot sizes here. I’ve disabled daisy chain topology (it was enabled). I’ve enabled MIMO, beam forming and WMM. After two calls to Spectrum, they are again sending a tech this afternoon because remotely they see some “signal issue” which they don’t elaborate on. I will update again after the tech comes and waves his magic wand later this afternoon.
