We have release firmware version 1.12.0.18 this firmware has fixes for disconnects and many more I posted the release notes below.

If you are still having issues after updating your Orbi unit you may want to factory reset the Orbi and test again. If you are still having disconnect issues or other issues with this firmware please create a new thread or contact our support team.

Feb 26, 2017They took it back. Made an exception. I showed them all the issues the Netgear orbi was having (this forum, my ticket with support), and the manager approved it. Last time I took something I didn't have to talk to a manager, but this time it required it as the normal employee didn't want to do it. Either way, I got the credit, and now own the Eero system running. I already set it up and have no issues at all so far. It's fast everywhere in the house, and all my devices have a solid signal with no drops.
