Same problem. S8 keeps dropping connection after 5 minutes on Wifi. Do not want to return it but Netgear leaves no option.

The latest Verizon firmware fixed my S8 issues and may others! Just rolled out yesterday mid-day for me.. Make sure it is updatedGo into "Settings" on your phone then selected "System Update" towards the bottom..
