You should look at the specs of each Orbi system to see wheather or not it meets your needs:

I have looked over the specs and this one exceeds what I need as far as my house. SO, I was hoping that signal would carry at least a little bit to the garage and back yard. And it's in my budget.
Can you tell me if I would get better signal strenght (or any other advatage) by connecting each satellite with cat 5 instead of just wireless? Would a switch (a tp link metal 8 port, not a managed switch) cause any issues with this setup? I would most likely have the modem going into the main Orbi and then a cat5 going out of the orbi going into a switch. Then two ports of the switch would go into separate rooms on separate floors into another switch and then into the satellites.
