AP and parental controls won't enable

I have to use the AP mode which apparently disables parental controls which is why I bought this product to begin with! Its incredibly frustrating.   I've read a bunch of postings similiar to my is...

Thanks for you response.  I have Control 4 set up to work my TV's and other stuff and the company that set that up connected Netgear/Orbi to the system.  They set it up in AP mode and said I can't change it without alot of hassle and money for them to come back and reprogram everything. I have Verizon Fios.  Does that information help? Thanks for your help

Did you get the Orbi system from Verizon? Verizon has there own FW setup on NGs Orbi Hardware.

 

Does the Verions FIOS have a modem or ONT? What is the Mfr and model# of this unit? 

Built in router here? If so, the post listing suggestions to use the Orbi in router mode could be configured.
