App can't connect to router - RBK23

I had gone a couple of weeks without using the Orbi app, but when I tried last night it's tossing up an error: "Logon timed out, please try again.  If this issue persists, try rebooting your device."  Oddly enough, this error pops up instantly as soon as I hit the "sign in" button, so it's an extremely short timeout period.  Which leads me to believe that's not the real issue.

 

I tried rebooting.  I tried clearing the cache on the app.  I tried uninstalling the app and reinstalling it.  Still getting the error.  I can connect just fine through my pc so I really think the issue is with the app, not the router.  I'm wondering if I'm the only one seeing this, and if anyone has any suggestions how to fix it?

 

App version is 2.20.2.2506.  My router is on 2.7.4.24.

      Well, misery loves company I guess, but I'd rather have a functioning app 🙂

       

      Don't get me wrong, I appreciate your post, as it pretty much confirms what I thought.  Looks like an app issue; I don't know when the last update was but I suspect it's causing the issue.  I saw a review on the Google Play store yesterday where someone was having the same issue so hopefully they'll figure it out.  Guess I just wait.
