Is this Orbi administered using the web interface or the Orbi 'app'? (or not administered at all?)

Yes. we use the Orbi app... which is somewhat difficult as the phone can't connect to it...

    When it was connected, did you enable Anywhere Access? This goes through the internet cloud rather than the LAN.
