Assigning a Device to the Sattelite
Hello.
Got everything set up fine and got the router to sync with the Sattelite. However, when I look at the attached devices, the computer closest to the Sattelite is attached to the router.
Is there a way to assign a device to the sattelite manually? Thanks.
There is no way to manually assign devices. You can power-cycle WiFi on the device and it should connect to the strongest signal. Device roaming will depend on the device. Roaming can usually be improved by using the lowest necessry WiFi power on Orbi, especially on the 2.4 G band. This will reduce overlap and make one Orbi stronger than the other.
