Authentication Error Occurred
My wife and I both have Samsung S6. Recently received an update to the phone and afterwards it no longer stays connected to Orbi. My Orbi is on version 2.0.0.74. I tried rolling back to 1.11.0.20 ...

I just want to point out that this is definitely NOT just an issue with Samsung firmware. This is an issue caused by the Orbi router, firmware, and 5 ghz band. I have the same authentication issue on my LG G6 and Asus 3S 10 tablet. Both of these devices have connected and worked fine with other multi-band systems. But as soon as I got my Orbi in yesterday I have 3 devices that won't connect or stay connected to it at all. Even my Macbook Pro gives me an "invalid password" message even though the password is correct. All of these devices have not reported the same issues with other brands of routers. I don't feel like waiting around on Netgear to release a fix so I'm probably just going to return mine. I had high hopes for this system but it seems Netgear is in the middle of a firmware update fiasco and I got in at the wrong time.

As a few have already stated, if I hadn't already invest in my system I would probable look for another solution as well. The fact that is has not been fixed lead me to think Netgear just doesn't have either the staff or desirer or both to fix this problem. I've worked around this issues but makes me think what if it wasn't a issue with a work around, you'd just be dead i the water for who knows how long waiting on a fix.

Running 1 RBK50 and 2 RBS50's with an Galaxy S6 Edge and also have the same issue,
This makes the Orbi's unusable for me and the workarounds of unprotected network or only using 2.4Ghz also won't work.
Can't believe this hasn't been fixed yet.
Luckily I'm only about a week and a half into ownership, to me, it looks like a blacklist issue as my phone was working fine until I changed the SSID and not being blocked out, with the "fake error message"
Authentication error occurred,
Also, my satellites also disconnected as have all of my other devices over WIFI so only ethernet devices are currently working.

Based on what you describe, your issue looks to be different than the one experienced by Galaxy S6 users. I never had any issues with satellite connectivity.
I can say that it seems the issue has now been fixed with the most recent update to my Galaxy S6. I no longer have the authentication error issue and have switched the guest network back to the original configuration.
