AX4200 satellite adding to AC2200
We purchased the Orbi Mini 2-pack AC2200 Tri-Band WiFi system initially. Later I also purchased an Orbi Tri-band WiFi6 add-on satellite. Can I use this satellite with the system that I purchased? ...
compatible satellites are:
RBS20
RBW30
RBS40
RBS40V
RBS50
RBS50Y
You can also use the EX7500, EX7700, EX8000. they don't integrate with the system but they do work.
Is there one I should choose over the other?
No. They should all perform pretty similar with the router/system you have.
the RBR50 series has a wider backhaul but your router doesn't support the wider backhaul so it'll just funciton at its baseline.
But some don't have ethernet ports or different amounts of them so keep that in mind.
