Bad performance Orbi RBR20 with Unitymedia / Vodafone Station

I am actually on the latest firmware version: V2.7.3.22

 

It seems to be that devices connect to 5G only if the device is really close (2m) to the Orbi. Otherwise the device will connect to 2.4G. Therefore the measured performance is very limited. I assume that the firmeware update has caused a different behavior as previously.

Has a factory reset and setup from scratch been performed?

    Yes - no changes and a friend of mine is facing the same issue.

      Really doesn't help answer questions that were asked. 

       

      So try reverting FW versions then.
