Best orbi settings/Advanced settings as of 2019?

What Firmware is currently loaded?
What is the Mfr and model# of the ISP modem the NG router is connected too?
Is the Orbi system operating in Router or AP mode?
How many satellites do you have?

What is the size of your home? Sq Ft?
What is the distance between the router and satellite(s)? 30 feet is recommended in between them to begin with depending upon building materials when wirelessly connected.

What channels are you using? Auto? Try setting manual channel 1, 6 or 11 on 2.4Ghz and any unused channel on 5Ghz.
Any Wifi Neighbors near by? If so, how many?

  I have the latest firmware I have 1 router and 1 satellite my house is 3500 squft I have 3 floors upstairs downstairs and basmenet but im upstairs right next to the satilete and the router is downstirs 50ft to 60ft away

    Try setting manual channel 1, 6 or 11 on 2.4Ghz instead of Auto.

Hi adikm,

The best settings is Orbi default settings. You can enable those 3 Advanced settings for enhanced or new features if they don't wreak havoc in your WiFi network. Also, if your Satellites are within the WiFi range of your Orbi Router, please disable Daisy-Chain feature since it won't help and will only hurt.

BTW, what sort of reliable problem do you currently have with your Orbi setup?
