How do I verify that they are clean after I do that? Re-attach them to my new (eero) network?
In the past, when I was using them and tried that, they would accept the password and have the same wifi passwords when they were done powering on. Didn't behave like they were fresh from the factory units.

When Factory Reset, they return to the WiFi credentials printed on the label (bottom of the case). Is that what is happening?

When I last did that, I was using the Orbi's. The units reconnected and was accessible through the web interface like the reset did not happen. Is there a LED color or flashing lights that indicates a successful reset?
I have the RBS's still connected via wired (Ethernet), but now to the eero 7 Max. They are still functional!! The ring light turned blue and is now off. The devices connected to the RBS are on the network. I'm sure the WiFi on the RBS's are off (I used the same SSID w the eero that I was using w the Orbi.. so I can't tell for sure.).
The RBS's can be used as 1 gigabit switches!! The eero shows the satellite RBS as connected device
I might just keep them đ
