Bogus support

Has anyone experienced the bogus support at this url -  and then been contacted by a "technician" and even given a toll-free number

Whole bunc of things pretty suspicious but they have a lot of Orbi knowledge and could easily fool home users.

If you are unsure about the support agent you are talking to please do not give them personal info or payment until you are able to verify that they are a actual support agent at Netgear by going through our support page.

Yea, in looking into this further they seem to be quite busy. Lots of Orbi and Lymksys customers post in this regard. They certainly effectively pose as Netgear Orbi support team. The fake site has some accurate info on it but with time is an obvious fake.

Netgear should look into this for sure!

I just anonymously reached out to them.  They're posing as a NETGEAR reseller....and it's NOT NETGEAR.   Asking them a few basic questions, it's clear that they have a superficial, but not deep knowledge of the Orbi.

        YMMV
