Broken Satellite? Firmware issues

All 3 of my orbi ac3000 satellites STOPPED WORKING within 2 years of purchase AFTER firmware updates :(
So that does that mean that there "broke'.
What is the distance between the router and satellite(s)? 30 feet or more is recommended in between RBR and RBS to begin with depending upon building materials when wirelessly connected.
What Firmware version is currently loaded?
Has a factory reset and setup from scratch been performed since last FW update?
