What is the model# of the modem? Try a different modem by chance if DMZ is causing the modem and Orbi to crash.
I would configure the Orbi for AP mode.

Couple of options,
1. Configure the modem for transparent bridge or modem only mode. Then use the Orbi router in router mode. You'll need to contact the ISP for help and information in regards to the modem being bridged correctly.
2. If you can't bridge the modem, disable ALL wifi radios on the modem, configure the modems DMZ/ExposedHost or IP Pass-Through for the IP address the Orbi router gets from the modem. Then you can use the Orbi router in Router mode.
3. Or disable all wifi radios on the modem and connect the Orbi router to the modem, configure AP mode on the Orbi router.---
Unfortunately:
1. AT&T no longer supports transparent bridge.
2. Turned off the all wifi radios on modem. Setting DMZ/ExpoosedHost or IP Pass-Through will cause both systems to crash and you will need to do a hard reset. I confirmed with AT&T they do not really support this anymore.
3. You cannot access the routers web based page since it will give you the very error you are trying to fix in the first place.
admin and password do not work when the orbilogin.com redirects to http://orbilogin.com/BRS_wanlan_conflict.html and brings up a user name password prompt. http://192.168.1.1 or http://10.0.0.1 gives the same result.
Is there an actual solution for users with AT&T?

I am using the Orbi RBR50 with the AT&T modem which I must use with the service. I cannot use another modem.

Try AP mode then. Should work. A reset on the RBR maybe needed. I would manually configure the RBR with it disconnected from the modem first. Set a new IP address, 192.168.1.50 on the RBR for AP mode so you will always access the RBRs web page at this address. Set your modems default IP address range to 192.168.1.100 to .200. Save all settings then reboot the RBR and connect the WAN port to the back of the modem.
