C6220 Router compatible with Rbk12, 13, 14?

Question

I currently have the C6220 Modem Router and we want to be able ot extend our wifi outdoors. I've looked into getting the Orbi Mesh system (RBK12, RBK13, RBK14) but I want to make sure we have everything we need before purchasing. It looks like we need a modem to hook the new system into. Will my current modem router connect with the new orbi mesh system?

It's recommended to bridge the C series modem and then connect the 1 series Orbi to the modem.&nbsp;Review the user manual for the modem about bridging.&nbsp;

Is the&nbsp;Orbi RBK853 a necessity in your setup? Is it possible for me to change the router mode on C6220 and then hook up RBK12/13/14?

It would be best if you can set bridge mode on the modem/router so it's a modem only, then connect up the 1 series orbi and use that system as your main host router. Pg 72 explains this:
