Can’t get External IP Address for RBR40 in AP Mode
Orbi rbr40 can't get external ip in access mode due to being behind a proxy. All it’s showing is network ip. Anyway I can set it manually? This is a massive pain in the arse as I can’t login to Net...

As both FURRYe38 and dopey1620 explain, in AP mode there won't be an external IP address.

The way into an AP is usually through its local IP address, unless you are trying to use Remote Access.
- Since I put my Orbi behind a proxy I can’t use remote access but also I can’t login to Netgear in the Orbi app.
Clearly something is getting blocked somewhere but I’m unsure what.- What error do you see when trying to connect to Orbi from the Orbi app?
- That app connects to Orbi fine.
It’s when I try and login to Netgear within the app I get an error wrong username or password all the time.
