Can’t login to Orbi rbr40
I have had an Orbi RBR40 router and 1 satellite for nearly 5 years. I have ALWAYS used my email and password to login since I initially set it up. Suddenly today, when trying to login using the app, it locks my username to admin and doesn’t accept any possible default password, a blank password or any password I could have possibly used.
I use Orbilogin.net and it takes me to a screen that asks for the serial number, then it doesn’t accept the answers to my security questions, which it says don’t match what’s on the router, which is not possible, because I’ve used these security answers before and know what they are.
is there anyway to get around this without having to totally reset my router which will in turn be a nightmare to have to uninstall and reinstall my HomeKit, all the devices and my security system.
I have never had to use admin to login and have no idea why this suddenly changed.

Login to what?
It has never been an option to login to the browser graphical user interface (GUI) using an email address. It has always been "admin" for the username and then a password, which is "password" for the default.

This is usually a symptom that the user did not set up password recovery.
If you are trying to use the "password recovery" option, there is a bug in Netgear's implementation of password recovery on some devices. You can get locked into a closed loop.
If password recovery is enabled, but you have not set the answers to the questions, it keeps sending you back to the beginning of the process. If you haven't already given the thing your personal answers, they are not in its memory and it has no way of knowing if they are correct.
If the standard factory password (password) does not work, then you will have to factory reset the thing to get back to that. Then either disable password recovery (check the manual for your device) or provide some answers to those questions. How do I perform a factory reset on my NETGEAR router? | Answer | NETGEAR Support
I have never had to use admin to login and have no idea why this suddenly changed. That's freaky. It has been a constant cause of complain that people cannot change that "admin" username. Netgear doesn't even respond when asked about it.
The only way in that uses an email address is via something like Anywhere Access which can take you in through Netgear's cloud link.
