Can I mix backhaul connections with a switch in the mix?
I have a RBR40 with 3 RBS20 satellites. Works great but as speed requirements are getting higher I'm thinking about backhauling the satellites. 2 are fairly easy to daisy chain to the router, but the third is not. But I can connect to a switch fairly easy. So what's your thoughts connecting one satellite through the switch and 2 to the router. I know it's not ideal but trying to increase the speed of my mesh system.
Thanks,
ML

Yes you can. Be sure the switch is a non managed switch.

should work fine. I've done it.
I've tested it with a mix of wired/wireless backhaul and it should work fine. And it'll give you a bit more life from your current system.
You still won't see gigabit speeds over wireless because of the fronthaul and its specs but a solid 300-500mbps should be reasonable with it. That should saturate most anything you can throw at it.
