Can I use NETGEAR Orbi Outdoor satellite WiFi extender (RBS50Y) with my RB50
Yes, it's recommended to use the Orbi mode FW on the RBSY unit.
Thanks for confirming. I have cable to my router, but little to no service in my backyard, so hoping this RBS50Y will pair up nicely and give me the better coverage. I am not sure about the other information you shared, but do I need to program my router or just let the extender and wifi router pair?
You can try extender mode first with the RBR50...should pair up.
