Can the Orbi Modem CBK40 be combined with an existing Orbi router system?
I currently have the Orbi RBK20W router + 1 plug in satellite combo. I want to get rid of my cable provider’s rental modem. Can the Orbi CBK40 built in cable modem/router + satellite combo be combined...

The satellites would all work but you don't want to run 2 orbi routers on the same network. Potentially you can but one of the routers would need to be in AP mode and use a different ssid. it tends to add interference, create issues, and kind of ruins the point of using orbi by having the single ssid feature and seamless roaming.
What I'd do if you've already got an orbi setup? I'd just get a modem that's compatible with your isp. The cm1000, cm1100, cm1200 all work great and potentially are compatible if the CBK40 is. Plus they're all docsis 3.1 compable. When you go with modem/router combo devices, the ISP controls the firmware. And it doesn't get updated as much as it should.
You can purchase satellites as needed to add to the configuration if you need more coverage.
