Cannot apply " Turn off wireless signal by schedule "
Hi
I Cannot apply " Turn off wireless signal by schedule ".
I already set security > time zone with everyday block.
I want to set " Turn off wireless signal by schedule " between 9pm and 5 am. checked all squares + setting period at "advanced wireless setting".
Orbi router + satelite are working fine. I just want to set up turn off period.
Any clue what i am missing ?
Thank you
- I finally got mine to work. Turns out it was set to the wrong time zone (Advanced>Security>Schedule).

Hello Toriko
You may want to look at this KB

Yes, everyone can do this but it doesn't solve the question of how to turn off internet access to my kids every night. I'd like a way to disable the guest network every night. That way, I don't give them the password for the main network and I can still have access while they can't.
- BamaisbestAspirantI followed the directions, but my router did not shut off the wireless signal as scheduled.

found my problem :
- Chrome doesnt work to apply my schedule i used another browser.
- I had to apply new schedule several times to get it apply everywhere ( router and sattelite)
havent changed anything else for week
( ie i am fed up to look for an easy way to make it done)
- BamaisbestAspirantMy problem is not a browser issue. The base and satellite units both light up showing they are receiving the update. It simply does not shut the internet off at the scheduled time.

Bamaisbest as mentioned in other threads as well looks like for now the ability to turn off or adjust radio power has been removed completely, and that may have something to do with it directly or indirectly pertaining to guest radios also not being able to turn off.

- BamaisbestAspirantI take it back. It worked one night and then didn't the next. I logged into the system and it said wireless was off, yet everyone in my family was still connected and able access the internet. This is an obvious bug and a patch is needed to fix it.
