Cannot change connected device info from browser menu - Orbi Router RBR50v2

It would help to know the firmware release level.
Also, my experience is that the Attached Devices display does not update instantly.
i.e. when I change a device name, type, etc., click Apply, and then go back to the Attached Devices display...it DID NOT CHANGE>
But... if I then "Refresh" the values will change.
Could that be part of the problem?
Thank you CrimpOn, we followed your advice and made sure we had all the most recent updates. The problem seems to be resolved at this point. We have been able to change all of the names in our device list as needed. Some interesting quirks, however, that are probably working as designed, but frustrating:
FIRST, we can edit the existing Device Model field, which is great. However, when we edit the Device Name field, the existing entry disappears and we must enter a new name. We cannot edit the pre-existing name.
SECOND, the device list keeps refreshing every 6 seconds or so, which makes it hard to read and select from the device list.
THIRD, every 5 minutes or so we are logged out of the Orbi local browser menu and must log back in.
Some of these issues make it a pain to work in the local browser menu. Do you happen to have any solutions for these additional concerns? Thank you for your assistance.
