Cannot connect Orbi RBR50 to Viasat modem RG1100
Has anyone been able to connect Orbi RBR50 to Viasat modem RG1100? Please let me know settings on Orbi and Viasat. Any help appreciated. Thank you.

I would contact Viasat for help and information on using external routers with there system. SAT can be picky about this. I remember having problems when I had SAT years ago.
Be sure there modem/router isn't using 192.1681.1 for an IP address.
If the modem has a built in router, This would be a double NAT (two router) condition which isn't recommended. https://kb.netgear.com/30186/What-is-Double-NAT

Couple of options,
1. Configure the modem for transparent bridge or modem only mode. Then use the Orbi router in router mode. You'll need to contact the ISP for help and information in regards to the modem being bridged correctly.
2. If you can't bridge the modem, disable ALL wifi radios on the modem, configure the modems DMZ/ExposedHost or IP Pass-Through for the IP address the Orbi router gets from the modem. Then you can use the Orbi router in Router mode.
3. Or disable all wifi radios on the modem and connect the Orbi router to the modem, configure AP mode on the Orbi router. https://kb.netgear.com/31218/How-do-I-configure-my-Orbi-router-to-act-as-an-access-point and https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H7LOcJ8GdDo&app=desktop

Hello FURRYe38,
I have the Viasat modem in Bridge Mode, but still having problems. Viasat has no idea how to set up. How do I put Orbi in Router Mode?

Did you power OFF the SAT modem for 1 minute then back on then factory reset the RBR and walk thru the setup wizard using a wired PC and web browser pointed at 192.168.1.1?
Be sure your using a good quality LAN cable between the modem and RBR. CAT6 is recommended.

The RBR should be in router mode by default unless you already configured AP mode. You can use the same menu setting to set the RBR back to router mode if it's in AP Mode. Or factory reset the RBR and walk thru the setup wizard with the RBR connected to the modem.
Let us know how it goes.
