Cannot reset Orbi RBR50

What happens if you press the reset button for 10-15 seconds only.
Be sure that you are feeling a slight bump when the reset button is pressed then released. Possible the paper clip maybe missing the button.
I did that many, many times (as mentioned above). The power LED goes amber solid, then it goes amber flashing. It just does not reset back to factory defaults.
A couple of hours ago, it just started working again, and on the old configuration - without me doing a thing further. 🤦🏻‍♂️ I do not get it. All told, I probably factory reset the unit at least 50 times. It simply will NOT return to factory default. And now it's humming along just fine - everything is connected to it, I can access the web interface, I can access it with the app, and I was able to re-pair the satellite to it. It showed 0 devices connected, but a simple reboot was successful and now it shows the devices again as well.
This makes no sense at all.
(To be clear - during the many factory reset attempts I made, I held the reset button down with the paper clip until it flashed amber AND several other times while timing it to 10s, 15s, 30s, 45s, and a full minute using a stopwatch.)
- If you can access the RBRs web page, try using the ERASE function under Advanced Tab/Backup settings menu...
I can now use the menu options to initiate a factory reset, true, but I really want to understand what happened that had my network offline an entire day and why it would suddenly start working on its own some three hours after I gave up.
I´m with same issue. I can´t reset my RBR50, Tryed reset many times and when the router restart I can see same old Wi-fi. I can´t conect to router. I used many different ways to reset. Press reset button for 10 seconds, 15 seconds and 30 seconds and Router doesnt reset.
I pressed reset button, turn off, turn on the router and kept reset button pressed for 30 seconds and no way.
