Cannot Update Firmware

Giving me such trouble: iPhone Orbi App keeps giving "Firmware Check Error" and I can't get past that. Tried orbilogin.net... The RBR50 and RBS50 say "Update Failed" when I attempt to update. My c...

    Why would my reason for wanting to update firmware be relevant? Fact: I have older firmware and I cannot update to newer versions that should readily be available.

      Because supposedly when you NEED an update Netgear will push it you no action on your part
